Terms of Service

The terms for using this website and for working with us on pilots, software and consulting services.

Last updated 24 October 2026

  • Use the website fairly. Report security issues instead of testing them.
  • Pilots, software and consulting each come with their own written agreement, which takes priority.
  • Our software limits what AI agents can do. It does not promise to stop every attack.
  • Indian law applies, with the courts at Chandigarh.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you use startiqosai.com or work with StartiQOS AI (“StartiQOS AI”, “we”, “us”). StartiQOS AI operates remotely, with its team based in Chandigarh, India.

By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you work with us on a pilot, software or a consulting engagement, the written agreement we sign with you for that work takes priority over these Terms wherever the two differ.

2. Using this website

You may browse the website and use its content for your own information and for evaluating our work. Please do not:

  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or its hosting;
  • copy or republish our content as your own, or use it to mislead others;
  • submit false information through our forms.

If you find a security weakness in our website or software, please report it by email to info@startiqosai.com rather than testing it further.

3. Information on this website

The website describes our products, research and services. We try to keep it accurate, and we say clearly what is available today and what is planned. It is general information, not legal, security or compliance advice for your situation.

Measurements on the website describe our own tests unless we say otherwise. They are not promises about results in your environment.

The website assistant answers from the content of this website. Its answers are general information, not advice or a binding offer; anything binding is agreed in writing.

4. Pilots

A pilot is a limited evaluation of our software in your environment, for a period we agree in writing. During a pilot the software can observe and recommend; it enforces nothing until a person in your organisation approves a policy.

The scope, duration, and any confidentiality and data terms of a pilot are set out in a pilot agreement. Either party may end a pilot by written notice.

5. Software

Where we provide software, such as the StartiQOS gateway, your use is governed by the licence or agreement provided with it. If no separate licence applies, you may use it only for evaluation within an agreed pilot.

The software runs in your environment. You are responsible for where you install it, who can access it, the credentials you give it, how your AI agents are configured, keeping backups, and your decisions to approve policies or turn enforcement on.

6. Consulting services

Consulting work is delivered under a statement of work or service agreement that sets out its scope, deliverables, fees, timelines and data handling. Where that work involves your systems or data, we act on your instructions and under the terms in that agreement.

7. What our software does and does not do

Our software reduces risk by limiting what AI agents are allowed to do and by recording each decision. No security product can prevent every attack, misuse or error, and ours does not claim to. It does not replace your other security controls, monitoring or human review.

8. Fees

Browsing the website is free. Fees for software or services, if any, are set out in the agreement for that work, along with payment terms and applicable taxes.

9. Confidentiality

Each party will keep confidential the other’s non-public information shared during a pilot or engagement, and use it only for that work. The specific obligations are set out in the agreement for that work.

10. Intellectual property

We own the website, our software, our research and their content, except where we state otherwise. You own your data and your systems. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve our work without any obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

The website and our software may connect to services run by others, such as hosting providers, AI model providers or agent platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Any warranties for software or services are only those set out in the agreement for that work.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website.

For software and services, our liability is as set out in the agreement for that work. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access to the website if it is being misused. Pilots and engagements end as set out in their agreements.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chandigarh, India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any right you may have under the law of your own country. We would rather resolve any concern directly first, so please write to us before taking formal action.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Changes do not affect any agreement already signed for a pilot or engagement.
